Search underway for 10-year-olds last seen near Kandiyohi Co. fairgrounds

The Willmar Police Department is searching the water and the area near the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds for two 10-year-old boys who have been missing since Tuesday night.

Idris Hussein and Ahmed Hashi were last seen near the dock on the northeast entrance of the fairgrounds. Hussein was last seen wearing white boots, white long pants and a vest. A clothing item possibly belonging to one of the boys was found in the water.

Police are asking residents to check their yards and the area near their homes in the event the boys are scared and hiding. Anyone with information is asked to call the Willmar Police Department at 320-235-2244.
