Severe thunderstorms will bring a threat for tornadoes in Northwest Texas this afternoon.
"We can and must do more relative to severe weather," AccuWeather CEO Barry Myers testified on Thursday, May 23, 2013, during a hearing called Restoring U.S. Leadership in Weather Forecasting.
Severe storms will quickly develop over western Texas and far southwest Oklahoma Thursday afternoon with huge hail, tornadoes and gusty winds. The Northeast will also see isolated severe storms.
