Workers hauled away more debris Saturday from the buildings that exploded in East Harlem, attempting to reach the basement levels in the search for the cause of the blast that killed eight people. A Bible was recovered belonging to the Spanish Christian Church, which was located in one of the two destroyed buildings. The rescue operation was continuing in case unknown people were buried beneath the rubble, said city Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano.
