Short-Range Weather forecast overview for the North Central United States
Thunderstorms with hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are pushing through the Plains continuing this weekend and into Monday.
Hail, high winds and tornados will take aim at the western Plains Saturday.
The heat will diminish this week in Chicago, but there will be some showers and thunderstorms around.
Severe weather will again develop Saturday over the western Plains. Very large hail to the size of baseballs, damaging winds and tornadoes will all be possible.
A storm pushing out of the Colorado Rockies Thursday afternoon will lead to some potentially strong or severe thunderstorms into the evening hours.
