A child is in the hospital after being struck by a school bus in St. Paul, Minn. Thursday morning, according to St. Paul police. The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Dale Street. The child was taken to Regions Hospital.

St. Paul Public Schools would not confirm whether the child was a student in one of their schools, but says the bus and the bus route were not affiliated with SPPS.
