Southwestern Orange County in east central Florida... Northwestern Osceola County in east central Florida... * Until 1145 PM EDT * At 1015 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a nearly stationary thunderstorm producing excessive rainfall near Kissimmee. The heaviest rainfall was occurring just east of Interstate 4 in the vicinity of the intersection of Florida's Turnpike and State Road 417. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between two and three inches of rain have already fallen. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kissimmee, Celebration and Buena Ventura Lakes. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This will result in additional minor flooding. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely. & LAT...LON 2848 8163 2848 8130 2819 8130 2819 8152 2820 8152 2826 8156 2826 8163 $$ More
