Mild temperatures and breezy South winds are ahead for your Thursday across Northern California. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to low 60's in the valley this morning, and mountain areas have dipped into the low 40's to low 50's overnight. High temperatures will be just around average for this time of year, with mid 80's expected for the valley, and mid 70's to low 80's in the mountains. Sunny skies will be ahead for today, and winds will be out of the South to 15-20mph.
Temperatures will continue to fall over the next several days, with the peak of the cooling expected on Sunday. Valley areas are projected to top out in the low to mid 60's on Sunday afternoon. The potential for showers will return to the North Coast of California on Saturday evening, and will spread through the entire region on Sunday. Temperatures will be slightly warmer on Monday, and the potential for showers will mostly be limited to the Sierra. There will be a decent chance for at least a dusting of snow down to 6500'. Showers head East on Tuesday, but clouds are expected to linger across Northern California. Valley areas will climb back into the low 80's with partly cloudy skies on Wednesday. I hope everyone is ready for the cooler weather and showers to return, and has a great Thursday!
