    Climate-Friendly Traveling

If you're ready to start planning your Spring Break trip or even a family vacation, the first question you may ask is, 'what's the weather like there?' The answer you get may not be the one you're looking for. The weather may not be as stable, thanks to a changing climate.

Whether it is more violent hurricanes or heat stroke deaths after a long heat wave, global warming and climate change play a factor. A changing climate also affects travelers. If you're planning a trip, you should keep the Earth in mind.

Some ways to be climate-friendly when traveling include finding ways to get there without hurting the environment. Flying can be harmful to the planet due to the release of gas and particles into the air. If flying, think about how often and the route you take. Also, even if you're on vacation, you can still recycle and use water or electricity wisely.
