Halloween is the one holiday where you can be anything you want to be, like Superman or a witch. If you live in the north, you may have to be Superman with a snowsuit. It's not uncommon for snow on Halloween.

Many parents are unsure of how to dress their kids to go trick-or-treating because one year it's cold and the next it's beautiful! As we head into the coming years, could parents run into more issues when it comes to dressing their little ones?A changing climate could mean more question in the future on whether you need a snowsuit for trick or treating.

"You still cannot rule out we're still going to see some snow storms," said Brett Anderson, AccuWeather.com Senior Expert Meteorologist and Climate Change blogger. "Warm Halloweens, the extremes are getting more common than what we're seeing now, especially in the fall and summer. I don't see this changing anytime soon, but the overall long-term trend certainly would argue for more warmer Halloweens compared to colder Halloweens in the long-term."

In the long term, you may be able to leave the snow pants at home. For now, you may want to keep them around, that is, if you live in the north.
