1. Avoid Dryers if You Can. Dryers might be convenient, but they will only contribute to your favorite jean's inevitable demise: heat. If you have the time and space, air dry your laundry whenever possible.
2... And Avoid Washers, Too! Well, for jeans and delicates, at least. Hand washing is absolutely the best way to make your denim and underwear last as long as possible. Wash jeans in cold water, sans soap, and let them hangdry.
3. Freeze Your Hose. Weird but true: sticking your panty hose in the freezer for at least a day after you buy them will extend their life. Freezing strengthens the fibers, according to dailyfinance.com. All you have to do is run the panty hose under tap water, place in a plastic bag and freeze for 24 hours, and then let them thaw naturally. You can also stick ‘em back in the freezer before each wear.
