This week brought dramatically varied weather across the country, allowing AccuWeather.com user-submitted Photo of the Day entries to run the gamut.
The East felt some reprieve this week, as unseasonably warm temperatures arrived for a few days along the Northeast corridor. On Friday, however, blustery conditions returned to most. Wednesday's highs in the 60s in some areas will contrast with weekend temperatures in the 30s, 40s and low 50s.
The Plains had a distinctly different week, as snow fell from Colorado to Minnesota on Tuesday and Wednesday. As many as 6 inches fell in some locations, leaving heavily traveled roadways such as I-90, I-29 and I-94 slick into Wednesday morning.
This week's top picks reveal changing leaves across Connecticut, a brilliant Massachusetts sunset, autumn in Indiana, morning dew in Oregon and afternoon sunshine in New Jersey.
