SNOW SQUALLS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP. UNDER THE SNOW SQUALL BANDS, VISIBILITIES WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED DUE TO THE HEAVY SNOW, AND SNOW WILL QUICKLY ACCUMULATE.



AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO CROSS SOUTHERN ONTARIO LATEST TODAY AND INTRODUCE THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON. AS A RESULT, A BAND OF INTENSE SNOW SQUALLS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING. ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10 CM ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING. SNOW SQUALLS ARE LIKELY TO LOCK IN FROM SOUTHERN LAKE HURON ON SATURDAY WITH MORE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS LIKELY FROM NEAR GRAND BEND EXTENDING TO LOCALES TO THE SOUTHEAST.
