POOR VISIBILITY IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING IN SOME LOCATIONS.



A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CROSS SOUTHERN MANITOBA EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. IN ITS WAKE, SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL DEVELOP WITH NORTH WINDS OF 50 TO 60 KM/H AND STRONGER GUSTS. VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY TO BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE KILOMETRE MUCH OF THE DAY, WITH LOCALIZED WHITEOUTS AT TIMES. IMPROVEMENT SHOULD BEGIN IN THE LATE AFTERNOON OR EVENING AS WINDS START TO DIMINISH.



TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM A FEW CENTIMETRES IN SOUTHWESTERN MANITOBA TO 10 OR MORE CM EAST OF LAKE WINNIPEG.
