You will be responsible for monitoring and routine maintenance of a 24/7 computer room operation, as well as first line technical support for client and in-house computer related problems. We are looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, a broad range of computer experience, and the availability to work various shifts including weekends. Experience with a company providing online services is a plus.
Mac Support Technician: We are looking for an experienced Macintosh technician to support Macintosh computers and servers for corporate staff and production environment, providing the highest level of customer service at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to and resolve high-priority support requests
- Be available for support outside of normal work hours
- Install, upgrade, and maintain software, hardware and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- Troubleshoot network and remote access connectivity problems
- Produce documentation as needed
- Train end-users as needed
- Assist other IT staff members as needed
Successful candidate must have a strong understanding of Internet and networking protocols. 3 years related experience doing workstation/server support in a medium to large corporate environment. Experience with Windows and Unix is a plus. Other important skills include configuring and administering e-mail, Office products, file serving and backup solutions in a cross-platform environment. You should have a working knowledge of a broad area of hardware and networking issues, with experience in providing estimates and project planning. Successful candidate should have completed a four-year degree, and have 2 to 5 years of recent software development experience.

Video Technician: We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and detailed individual that has experience operating audio/video equipment. Audio/video experience with master control equipment to include cameras, switchers, mixers and tape decks is mandatory. General knowledge of satellite delivery systems is preferred. Intermediate Windows and Mac computer skills are mandatory. You will need to be able to evaluate and solve problems that occur with the equipment. This is a part-time position.
